Recipe Ingredients for Grilled Shrimp Skewers

3 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon basil
1 tablespoon sugar free jam
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons white sugar
1 granny smith apple, shredded
16 large shrimp, peeled and deveined

Recipe Directions for Grilled Shrimp Skewers

  1. Whisk together the honey, olive oil, basil, jam, red pepper flakes, garlic, red wine vinegar, lemon juice, white sugar and apples in a bowl. Place the shrimp in a large resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the shrimp, seal the bag and shake to coat. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

  2. Prehead the outdoor girll for medium - high heat.

  3. Thread the shrimp on soaded wooden skewers or metal skewers. Discard the remaining marinade

  4. Cook the skewers on the preheated grill until the shrimp are opage, about 5 minutes per side.
