24 ounce halibut fillets
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon extravirgin olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoons finely chopped shallot
1 teaspoon chopped capers
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

  2. Vinaigrette:

  3. 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

  4. 1 tablespoon extravirgin olive oil

  5. 1 1/2 teaspoons finely chopped shallot

  6. 1 teaspoon chopped capers

  7. 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

  8. 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

  9. Fish:

  10. Cooking spray

  11. 4 (6-ounce) halibut fillets

  12. 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

  13. 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives

  14. Preparation

  15. To prepare the vinaigrette, combine first 6 ingredients in a small bowl; stir with a whisk.

  16. To prepare fish, heat a nonstick grill pan over medium-high heat. Coat pan with cooking spray. Sprinkle fish with 1/2 teaspoon salt. Add fish to pan; grill 4 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork or until desired degree of doneness. Spoon vinaigrette over fish. Sprinkle with chives.
