Grilling carrots is quick and easy, but if you want to add some flavor you are going to need to baste them. This sugary glaze goes on at the very end so it work burn, but it will make some great grilled carrots.

Recipe Ingredients for Grilled and Glazed Carrots

8 carrot (7-1/2") Carrots
0.33 cup Orange Juice
0.25 cup, packed Sugars, Brown
2 tsp Butter
1 tsp Salt

Recipe Directions for Grilled and Glazed Carrots

Combine orange juice, brown sugar and butter in a saucepan. Simmer until it starts to thicken. Remove from heat and set aside. Meanwhile preheat grill. Oil cooking grates. Place carrots on grill over a medium heat. Grill, turning occasionally for about 4 minutes depending on the size of your carrots. As carrots start to soften, brush with glaze. Continue cooking until glaze starts to darken on the carrots. Remove, season lightly with salt and pepper, serve immediately.
