Recipe Ingredients for Grilled Flank Steak with Red Wine and Shallot

24 oz Beef, Flank
1 stick Butter
2 oz Soy Sauce
1 tsp, leaves Thyme, Dried
20 tbsp chopped Shallots
10 oz Wine, Table, Red
0.25 cup Parsley

Recipe Directions for Grilled Flank Steak with Red Wine and Shallot

  1. Brush flank steak with 2 tablespoon soy sauce, sprinkle with pepper and thyme and allow to marinate for 1 hour.

  2. After 1 hour, brush with remaining soy sauce and grill 4-5 minutes per side for medium rare. Let rest for 10 minutes before carving thin slices diagonally.

  3. For the sauce, combine shallots and red wine in a sauce pan over heat and bring to a boil. Add butter in chunks. Stir until butter is melted and then add parsley and season with salt. Spoon over steak slices.
