Grilled Chicken with with Tamarind-Orange Glaze

Recipe Ingredients for Grilled Chicken with with Tamarind-Orange Glaze

140 g Chicken Breasts Boneless and Skinless
3/4 tbsp olive oil
5 Basil leaves
1 tbsp garlic (chopped)
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp black pepper (ground)
1/4 cup orange juice
1/2 tbsp tamarind pulp
1 tsp orange peel (grated)
1 tsp ginger (grated)

Recipe Directions for Grilled Chicken with with Tamarind-Orange Glaze

  1. Place chicken in shallow bowl

  2. Whisk next 5 ingredients in medium bowl

  3. Pour over chicken; turn to coat

  4. Cover; chill at least 1 hour and up to 6 hours, turning often

  5. Whisk broth, juice, sugar, tamarind paste, peel, and ginger in large saucepan.

  6. Boil mixture over medium-high heat until reduced and glaze coats back of spoon, stirring often

  7. Cool glaze, then cover and chill

  8. Rewarm over medium heat, whisking occasionally)

  9. Season glaze with salt and pepper

  10. Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat)

  11. Reserve 1/4 cup glaze in bowl

  12. Grill chicken until cooked through, basting with reserved glaze, about 5 minutes per side

  13. Arrange chicken plate

  14. Spoon remaining glaze over chicken
