Grilled Chicken and Shrimp to be served over rice or pasta

Recipe Ingredients for Grilled Chicken and Shrimp

1/2 lb medium shrimp
1 lb chicken breast
1/8 cup butter
2 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp onion powder
1 tbs lime juice

Recipe Directions for Grilled Chicken and Shrimp

  1. Combine melted butter, minced garlic cumin, onion powder and lime juice in a bowl.

  2. Mix in chicken and shrimp, stir to coat and refrigerate for 1 hour

  3. Grill 4 to 5 inches over medium coals, turning a few times and basting with remaining marinade. Cook chicken 10 to 12 minutes and cook shrimp 5 to 6 minutes. Adjust grilling time according to temperature of coals and outside air. Serve with rice or pasta.
