My burgers were quite wet, but grilled them on foil instead of directly on the grill to avoid having to turn with a spatula and losing them into the coals.

Recipe Ingredients for Grilled Chicken burgers with vegies

3/4 lb chicken breast
1/2 tomato, chopped
1/2 bell pepper, chopped
1/2 onion, chopped,
1 tsp minced garlic
1 medium carrot, grated
1/2 cup mushrooms, chopped
1 egg
1/4 c bread crumbs
1 1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning
1 Salt and pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for Grilled Chicken burgers with vegies

  1. lightly spray large saute pan with oil. Add garlic and onion, and saute. To that add first green peppers (cook a bit) then mushrooms (cook) then tomatoes and carrot. Saute until cooked as soft as you wish, then remove from heat and cool completely. (I place mine in a dish over another dish filled with ice to hurry this process). Meanwhile, place chicken in a large mixing bowl. Add seasoning, bread crumbs, and egg. When cool, add vegetables and mix. Form into 4 large patties. Grill until done.
