Quick sandwich that can be dressed up with a slice of tomato, red/green pepper, onion, etc. Goes well with baked beans or soup.

Recipe Ingredients for Grilled Cheese

1/8 cup cheese, cheddar, low fat, shredded
1/8 cup cheese, mozzarella, partly skimmed, shredded
2 slices italian bread
1/2 tsp margarine

Recipe Directions for Grilled Cheese

  1. butter one side of both slices of bread

  2. spread cheese on unbuttered side of bread

  3. lay remaining slice of bread on top (unbuttered side down)

  4. Grill on both sides until golden
