Collard greens, Italian sausage, white beans and pasta

Recipe Ingredients for Greens and Beans

16 oz Sausage, Italian, Sweet, Links
1 1/2 cup Beans, White, Mature Seeds
6 cup, chopped Collards
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
4 clove Garlic
32 fl oz Natural Free Range Chicken Broth
16 fl oz Water
2 cup small shells Macaroni
1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper, Black
1 tbsp Parmesan, Grated Cheese

Recipe Directions for Greens and Beans

  1. Cook beans.

  2. Cook pasta.

  3. Slice sausages and 'just' brown in large pot.

  4. Add onion and saute until fragrant.

  5. Add garlic until warm and then add everything else except the beans and pasta.

  6. Simmer about one hour.

  7. Add beans until heated through.

  8. Serve over pasta with Parmessan.
