3 cup Lentils
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
1 Medium Tomatoes
5 slices (1" dia) Ginger Root
3 clove Garlic
2 pepper Pepper, Serrano
3 tsp Cumin Seed
1 tsp Salt, Table
0.5 tsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Turmeric, Ground
0.5 tsp Cayenne
804 grams Spinach

Recipe Directions for Green Spinach Lentils

  1. finely chop onion

  2. peel and chop ginger

  3. chop garlic and chiles

  4. chop spinach

  5. add all to 5-quart slow cooker and cook on high for 6-1/2 hours

  6. serve over basmati or brown rice or eat with roti or naan.
