simple green salad with a small amount of sunflower and pumpkin seeds for added texture

Recipe Ingredients for green salad with blue cheese

1 head romaine lettuce
2 med tomatoes
1 oz blue cheese
1 small green onion, slivered
1/2 T sunflower seeds
1/2 T pumpkin seeds
1 tsp mustard
1 tsp lemon juice
1 T red wine vinegar
2 T olive oil
1 tsp dried thyme
1 salt and pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for green salad with blue cheese

  1. make dressing by mixing, mustard seasoning and dried herbs

  2. add lemon juice, vinegar and oil

  3. toss remaining ingredients together (except cheese and nuts)

  4. Pour dressing and toss

  5. add cheese and nuts, toss lightly
