Recipe Ingredients for Green Pepper Steak

1 lb sirloin, sliced into strips
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 1/2 cups mushrooms, sliced
1 cup green pepper, diced
1 cup green onion, sliced
1 cup water
1 tbsp flour
1/2 cup tomatoes, diced

Recipe Directions for Green Pepper Steak

  1. combine sirloin, teriyaki and soy sauce, and garlic; place in bowl and set aside.

  2. Prepare vegetables and set aside.

  3. Place meat mixture into large frying pan over high heat; brown, cover and let cook over low heat for 30-40 min or until tender.

  4. Add vegetables and cook over high until tender crisp or about 10 minutes.

  5. Combine water and flour; add to mixture and let sit to thicken on low heat.

  6. Add tomatoes and heat through.

  7. Serve over rice.
