Recipe Ingredients for Green pepper fried steak (homemade)

2 tbsp butter
1 1/2 pounds steak, cut in strips
1 medium green pepper
1 small onion
2 1/2 cups canned tomatoes, diced
2 1/2 cups canned tomato sauce

Recipe Directions for Green pepper fried steak (homemade)

  1. Over medium heat,saute onion and green pepper in butter in a large skillet

  2. Add steak strips to pan and brown

  3. After steak is brown, add diced tomatoes and tomato sauce

  4. Simmer on low heat for 20 minutes

  5. Serve over rice

  6. Salt and pepper to taste
