Green pea soup with vegetables and lentils

Recipe Ingredients for Green pea soup, 300 g cooked per serving

145 g red onion
18 g becel
149 g yams
500 ml chicken broth prepared with water
473 g green split peas
80 g red lentils
103 g zucchini
71 g carrots
1 clove garlic
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp basil
1/4 tsp marjoram
1 1/2 l water

Recipe Directions for Green pea soup, 300 g cooked per serving

  1. Dice vegetables.

  2. Saute onion in Becel in 4 litre pot.

  3. Add broth and water.

  4. Add peas, lentils, vegetables and spices.

  5. Stir frequently at beginning to make sure peas and lentils don't stick to the bottom of the pot.

  6. Simmer for a few hours, stirring occasionally.
