Recipe Ingredients for Green Chili Chicken Taco Salad

2 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
8 oz. green chiles
2 tbsp flour
2 cup chicken breast, cooked and shredded
1 cup chicken broth
1 tbsp lime juice
1 tsp cumin
3/4 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp chili powder

Recipe Directions for Green Chili Chicken Taco Salad

  1. In a large pot, heat oil over medium high and add onion and garlic. Cook, stirring occasionally until onions are soft and translucent, about 6 min.

  2. Stir in chilies and flour. Add chicken, broth, lime juice, cumin, salt and chili powder; stir well. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to a simmer and cook until thickened, about 6 min.

  3. Serve or store refrigerated, up to 2 days.
