Hearty stew with white beans and green chili

Recipe Ingredients for Green Chili Bean Stew

15 oz white beans, drained
14 1/2 oz tomatoes, no added salt, diced
1 cup green chili, chopped
1 cup onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 cup water

Recipe Directions for Green Chili Bean Stew

  1. place chopped onion, garlic, celery and bell peppers in large pot on medium low heat.

  2. Cook for 2-4 minutes until soft

  3. Add chopped green chili and seasonings, cook 2 minutes.

  4. Add tomatoes, with liquids, bring to a boil, reduce

  5. Add drained and rinshed white beans, cook for 10 minutes until thickened.
