Recipe Ingredients for Green Chile Sauce (for breakfast burritos)

1 teaspoon canola oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon flour
4 poblano peppers
2 cups chicken broth

Recipe Directions for Green Chile Sauce (for breakfast burritos)

  1. Heat grill. Grill poblano peppers until charred all over - about 15 to 20 minutes. Do not remove the charred bits.

  2. Heat oil over medium heat. Add garlic, cook until fragrant, a few minutes. Add flour and mix for 1 minute.

  3. Add charred peppers and chicken broth - bring to a boil. Remove from heat. When cooled, puree with stick blender.

  4. Use a couple tablespoons over your next breakfast burrito.
