Recipe Ingredients for Green Chile Hash

8 oz Beef, Chuck, Arm Pot Roast
2 cups Potatoes, Red, Flesh And Skin
8 tbsp Green Chiles
1/2 cup Milk, Lowfat, Fluid, 1% Milkfat
1/2 tsp Pepper, Black
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 cup, chopped Onions
2 tbsp garlic

Recipe Directions for Green Chile Hash

  1. Chop beef and potatoes to same size (1/2 inch). Fine chop green chiles. Combine beef, potatoes, chiles and milk and mix.

  2. Saute onion and garlic in olive oil until soft.

  3. Add beef mixture and cook, stirring frequently until potatoes begin to brown.

  4. Season with black pepper and serve - with or without poached egg.

  5. NOTE: can also use corned beef, pork roast, chicken or turkey.
