Recipe Ingredients for Green Chile Chicken

448 g skinless, boneless chicken breasts
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice (about 1/2 lime)
3 tablespoons Old El Paso Seasoning Mix Taco Less Sodium
240 g whole green chiles, canned, drained
2 ounces montery jack cheese, shredded

Recipe Directions for Green Chile Chicken

  1. Preparation

  2. 1. Preheat oven to 400.

  3. 2. Pound chicken breast until 1/4 inch thick.

  4. 3. Arrange chicken in an 8-inch square baking dish; squeeze lime juice evenly over chicken. Sprinkle evenly with taco seasoning.

  5. 4. Slice chiles lengthwise, cutting to, but not through, other side; open flat. Place 2chile over each chicken breast. Cover dish with foil; bake at 400 for 30 minutes. Sprinkle cheese evenly over chiles and chicken; bake, uncovered, an additional 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
