Recipe Ingredients for Green beans peasant style

1 pound green beans
1 tbs olive oil
1 cup onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
14 1/2 ounces tomatos, canned diced
1/3 cup red wine
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp pepper, black

Recipe Directions for Green beans peasant style

heat oil iver meduim-high until hot. Add onion and garlic; saute until tender. Add tomato and remaing ingredients, except beans. Cook over low heat 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Steam the beans the last five minutes of the cook time. Remove from heat; add beans, tossing well to combine.
