Recipe Ingredients for Green Beans with Mushrooms and Balsamic

1 lb green beans, trimmed
1 tbs extra-virgin olive oil
8 ounces white mushrooms, sliced
1 tbs balsamic vinegar
1 salt to taste
1 pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for Green Beans with Mushrooms and Balsamic

  1. Cook green beans in a saucepan of salted boiling water until crisp-tender (blanched), about 4 mins

  2. Drain

  3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat

  4. Add mushrooms and cook until browned (about 5 mins)

  5. Add green beans and vinegar

  6. Season to taste with salt and freshly ground pepper

  7. Toss to combine and serve warm
