Green Beans With Lemon Cheese Sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Green Beans With Lemon Cheese Sauce

3 pounds fresh green beans
3 cups water
1 tablespoon g) Cornstarch
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
6 egg yolks
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup butter

Recipe Directions for Green Beans With Lemon Cheese Sauce

Place green beans and water in a Dutch oven. Bring to a boil. Cover and cook 8 to 10 minutes. In a saucepan, whisk cornstarch, broth, egg yolks, Parmesan and lemon juice until blended. Over low heat, stir until mixture thickens, about 15 minutes. Add butter slowly. Once butter melts, remove mixture from heat and stir. Drain green beans and top with sauce.
