Blanch green beans and toss in the vinaigrette ahead of time. Place in slow cooker to finish cooking and to keep warm.

Recipe Ingredients for Green Beans with Almonds and Vinaigrette

2 pounds green beans
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 tablespoon mustard
1/2 cup chopped almonds

Recipe Directions for Green Beans with Almonds and Vinaigrette

  1. Blanch green beans (place in boiling water for 1 minute and then immediately submerge in an ice water bath).

  2. Make vinaigrette (mix olive oil, lemon juice and mustard).

  3. Toss green beans in vinaigrette and add the almonds.

  4. Place in slow cooker on warm for 2 hours.

  5. Serve.
