Recipe Ingredients for green beans with almonds and tomatoes

1 lb green beans, frozen
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
4 teaspoons sundried tomatoes, julienne cut
3 teaspoons lemon juice
1/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted

Recipe Directions for green beans with almonds and tomatoes

  1. Place cut green beans in medium saucepan and cover in water add salt. Bring water to a boil and cook green beans for 5 minutes (or until desired tenderness) drain and set aside.

  2. In a separate skillet toast the slivered almonds while cooking green beans, remove from heat and set aside.

  3. In a large skillet or wok saute the garlic in oil. Ad sundried tomatoes and heat. Add green beans to skillet and toss. Add almonds and toss.

  4. pepper to taste
