Fresh green beans with bacon sauted with onions and garlic.

Recipe Ingredients for Green Bean Saute' with Onion, Garlic and Bacon bits

1 lb Beans, Snap, Green
1 slices Premium Regular Smoked Bacon
1/2 Onions, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. sea salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 cup Water

Recipe Directions for Green Bean Saute' with Onion, Garlic and Bacon bits

  1. In a large skillet, cook pieces of bacon until crispy; remove bacon.

  2. Add onion and garlic to skillet, stirring until softened.

  3. Add beans and salt & pepper; saute over Med/Hi heat, stirring about 3-5 min..

  4. Add 1/2 c. hot water and cover the skillet. Steam the beans about 15 more mins. until beans are tender.

  5. Garnish with crispy bacon bits.
