. . Cut fenel bulb into quarters and then shop into thin pieces. Toss beans and fennel with mushroom mixture. Chill for up to 4 hours before serving.

Recipe Ingredients for Green Bean Salad

12 ounces green beans, tipped
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp lemon juice
3 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
1 medium bulb fennel, chopped
2 cups sliced mushrooms
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Green Bean Salad

  1. Whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, dill, salt and pepper.

  2. Place mushrooms in bowl and pour over dressing. Let sit 15 minutes.

  3. Cut beans in half diagonally. Cook them until tender crisp, then cool in ice bath. Dry beans in tea towel.

  4. Cut fennel bulb into quarters, then chop into thin pieces.
