Very fast and tasty dish that will have your kids thinking you cooked all day!

Recipe Ingredients for Green Bean Mousaka

1 lb extra lean ground beef (5% fat)
1 tbls all purpose flour
8 oz can tomato sauce
1/2 tsp garlic minced
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
16 oz can) French Style Green Beans or cut green beans
2 eggs (beaten)
1 1/2 cups cottage cheese
1/4 cup parmesan cheese (grated)

Recipe Directions for Green Bean Mousaka

  1. In skillet brown ground beef; drain fat. Stir in flour. Stir in tomato sauce, garlic, cinnamon, (salt & pepper to taste). Place beans in a 10 x 6 x 2 inch baking dish. Spread meat mixture over beans. Combine eggs with cottage cheese and spoon over mixture. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

  2. Bake in 375 degree oven about 25 minutes or until thoroughly heated.

  3. Can sprinkle sliced pitted olives over finished serving dish!
