A swiss twist on the classic green bean casserole.

Recipe Ingredients for Green Bean Casserole Extraordinaire

1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup flour
2 cups sour cream
2 cups shredded swiss cheese
58 oz. green beans (french style)
2 cups corn flakes (crushed)
1/4 cup butter

Recipe Directions for Green Bean Casserole Extraordinaire

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 1 1/2 quart casserole dish.

  2. 2. Melt 1/4 cup beutter in a large skillet. Stir flour into the butter to make a paste. Blend sour cram into the flour paste, stirring constantly. When the mixture is hot and bubbly, romove from heat, and stir in swiss cheese. When the cheese has melted, add the green beans, stirring until they are coated. Pour the entire mixture into the prepared caserole dish.

  3. 3. In a small bowl, mix together the cornflakes and melted butter. Sprinkle over top of the green beans.

  4. 4. Bake uncovere for 30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
