Recipe Ingredients for Greek Style Garlic Chicken Marinade

448 g skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
174 g lemons, juiced
2 tablespoons Garlic, Minced
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
1/3 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon Basil
1 teaspoon Oregano, Ground
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper

Recipe Directions for Greek Style Garlic Chicken Marinade

  1. 1.Cut several slits in each chicken breast to allow marinade to penetrate.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, basil, oregano, cayenne, and red pepper for about 30 seconds.

  3. Place chicken in a large bowl, and pour marinade over. Using your hands, work marinade (especially garlic bits) into chicken.

  4. Cover, and refrigerate overnight (or for however long you can).

  5. Remove chicken and marinade 30-45 minutes before grilling.

  6. Preheat grill for medium heat, and lightly oil grate.

  7. Cook chicken on grill until meat is no longer pink and juices run clear.
