Recipe Ingredients for Greek meatloaf

1 1/2 pounds lean ground turkey
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup milk
4 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 large onion, peeled and chopped
1 cup shredded carrot
1 teaspoon dried Greek seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Recipe Directions for Greek meatloaf

  1. Heat oven to 375. Spray a 13 X 9-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.

  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, soaked bread crumbs, crumbled feta, eggs, onion, carrot, Greek seasoning, salt and pepper. Form into a loaf, approximately 9 x 5 inches, and place in the prepared baking pan.

  3. Bake at 375 for about 1 hour or until internal temperature registers 150 on an instant-read thermometer.

  4. Allow to rest, covered, for 10 minutes before slicing.
