These meatballs are so filled with flavor that you may serve them on their own or with a marinara sauce, mushroom gravy or brown gravy.

Recipe Ingredients for Greek Meatballs

1 lb venison, ground
1/2 cup oregano, fresh chopped
1/2 cup parsley, fresh chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 red bell pepper, minced
2 tsp pepper, white
2 tsp salt
1 cup feta cheese
2 tsp lemon juice

Recipe Directions for Greek Meatballs

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Dice the peppers and saute until tender - let cool

  3. Mix ground venison with oregano, parsley, garlic, red pepper, salt, feta and lemon juice. Blend until no large chunks of cheese remain.

  4. Using a 2" scoop (1/8 cup) scoop out meatballs and shape, placing on cooking sheet.

  5. Bake for 25 minutes or until the outside of the meatball is brown and the center is cooked through.
