Recipe Ingredients for Greek Meatballs by Mary Ann

389 grams lean ground turkey
1 egg
1/3 cup feta cheese, 13% M.F.
1 tbsp oregano
3 tbsp parsley
1/3 cup breadcrumbs
1 pinch garlic powder
1 pinch black pepper
2 tbsp skim milk
1 tbsp olive oil
2/3 cup chicken broth

Recipe Directions for Greek Meatballs by Mary Ann

  1. Mix all meatball ingredients with a fork (omit oil and broth).

  2. Form meat mixture into balls about the size of golf balls.

  3. Heat 1 Tbls olive oil in a saute pan over med-high heat.

  4. Add 1/2 of the meatballs and brown on all sides.

  5. Add 1/3 cup chicken broth or water. cover with a lid and cook until meat is no longer pink in the middle, about 6-8 minutes.

  6. Repeat with remaining meatballs.
