Recipe Ingredients for Greek lamb stew

8 oz Lamb, Shoulder, Blade
32 oz Lamb, Rib
1000 grams Tomatoes
16 fl oz Wine, Table, Red
484 grams Onions
2 tablespoons honey

Recipe Directions for Greek lamb stew

  1. Sear the meat. Pour off all fat in pan

  2. Ad the tomatoes (chopped) and their juices; scrape out the pan.

  3. Add the onions; simmer till the vegetables are soft

  4. Add the wine, 4 bay leaves, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp paprika, black pepper, salt, and enough wine to cover.

  5. Simmer until tender, about 90 minutes.
