A hearty but tasty burger with the flavours of Greece.

Recipe Ingredients for Greek Lamb Burgers

454 g ground lamb
1/2 cup minced onion
3 cloves garlic
1 egg
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. dry rosemary
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Recipe Directions for Greek Lamb Burgers

  1. Use mortar and pestle or other method to grind spices fairly fine if possible.

  2. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and form into patties 1 1/2" (3 cm) thick. Let sit in fridge for 30 - 60 minutes to blend flavours.

  3. Fry or broil on medium low setting for 8 to 10 minutes per side until completely cooked and juices run clear.
