3 lbs meaty chicken pieces (breast halves, thighs and drumsticks)
1 salt
1 ground black pepper
24 oz chicken gravy
8 oz package sliced fresh mushrooms
2 tbsp chopped garlic
2 tsp chicken seasoning
2 1/2 oz Onion (frozen seasoning blend)
2 1/2 oz Celery (frozen seasoning blend)
2 1/2 oz Green Peppers (frozen seasoning blend)
2 1/2 oz Red Peppers (frozen seasoning blend)
1 oz Parsley (frozen seasoning blend)

Recipe Directions for Gravy-Smothered Chicken (Sandra Lee Slow Cooking)

  1. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper; place in 5-quart slow cooker.

  2. In a large bowl, stir together gray, mushrooms, seasoning blend, garlic and chicken seasoning until combined

  3. Pour over chicken in slow cooker

  4. Cover and cook on Low heat for 3 to 4 hours.

  5. Remove chicken from clow cooker. Serve Hot.
