Delicious gravy made with puréed boiled vegetables and given a creamy consistency with the help of Norwegian brown goat's cheese. Perfect with meatballs, pork and game.

Recipe Ingredients for Gravy - Creamy Vegetable

40 g cauliflower, florets
60 g broccoli, florets
100 g cabbage, large chunks
2 cloves garlic
100 g carrots, chopped
30 g celery, chopped
700 ml water
1/2 tbsp dried parsley
1 pinch dried thyme
50 Norwegian brown goat's cheese gjetost
1 pinch ground black pepper
1/4 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Gravy - Creamy Vegetable

  1. Place all veggies and herbs in a medium pot, cover with water, season and bring to the boil. Simmer for 10 min uncovered or until carrots are tender.

  2. Remove from heat. Purée using a hand blender till smooth.

  3. Place back on stove-top and add in the gjetost. Whisk till it has completely dissolved.

  4. Serve warm.
