Gratin of Ham, Potato, and Broccoli

Recipe Ingredients for Gratin of Ham, Potato, and Broccoli

1 cups skim milk
2 ounces 2% cheddar cheese , grated
1/4 cup scallions
1 pinch nutmeg
1 salt
1 pepper
16 ounces potatoes, sliced thin
8 ounces broccoli
4 ounces ham, diced

Recipe Directions for Gratin of Ham, Potato, and Broccoli

  1. Preheat the oven to 400.

  2. Bring the milk just under a simmer in a saucepan. Stir in the cheese, scallions and nutmeg. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat and set aside.

  3. Apply a thin layer of olive oil to the bottom of a casserole dish. Lay half the potatoes in the dish. Top with broccoli and ham, then the rest of the potatoes. Pour the cheese mixture over the dish.

  4. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes, or until bubbly.
