Oats, Brown Sugar, and Cinnamon. 3 tbsp in 1 serving

Recipe Ingredients for Granola

288 g oats
4 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup coconut oil
1 tsp vanilla

Recipe Directions for Granola

  1. In a large bowl, stir together three cups of oldfashioned

  2. rolled oats, three tablespoons brown

  3. sugar, a quarter teaspoon kosher salt, and a half

  4. teaspoon cinnamon.

  5. In another bowl, stir together one-third cup

  6. honey, a quarter cup canola oil, and a teaspoon of

  7. vanilla. Dump this over the oat mixture and

  8. combine thoroughly. Get your hands in it to mix

  9. everything well, and to coat the oats evenly with

  10. the honey mixture. Heat the oven to 300 degrees

  11. Fahrenheit.

  12. Spread the mixture in a thin, even layer on a

  13. baking sheet and place on the center rack of the

  14. heated oven. Bake, stirring after 15 minutes, until the granola is a very light golden brown. It should

  15. take 20 to 30 minutes. If you like your granola

  16. crunchier with a toastier flavor, bake it a little

  17. longer, keeping a close eye on it?if it gets dark it

  18. will taste burnt.

  19. Cool the granola completely, stirring it around

  20. so it doesn?t stick together. (It hardens as it

  21. cools.)
