Makes 19 servings



A hearty and delicious breakfast cereal.

Recipe Ingredients for Granola

13 cups quick oats
1 cups coconut
1/2 cup almonds
1/2 cup walnuts
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup wheat germ
1/2 cup flax seed
2 teaspoons salt
1 cup maple syrup
1 cup oil
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
2 tablespoons almond extract

Recipe Directions for Granola

  1. Combine dry ingredients in a LARGE bowl.

  2. Combine wet ingredients in a small bowl.

  3. Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour in the wet ingredients, stirring with a large spoon until well mixed. Leave some lumps.

  4. Pour into 2 9x13 pans and bake on 150 or "low" overnight or 8-9 hours.

  5. Let cool, store, and serve!
