My adaptation of "Jennifer's Granola" from All Recipes. Replaced the oil with applesauce and used the ingredients I had on hand.

Recipe Ingredients for Granola

4 cups oats
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup oat bran
1 cup flax seeds
1 cup sliced almonds
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup apple sauce
1/4 cup honey
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cups water
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup craisins

Recipe Directions for Granola

  1. Mix dry ingredients together.

  2. Mix wet ingredients together.

  3. Mix wet ingredients with dry ingredients well.

  4. Spread on greased pan (I lined mine with foil)

  5. Bake at 300 degrees for an hour, stirring every 20 minutes or so!

  6. Add raisins and craisins the last five minutes
