Recipe Ingredients for Granola

4 1/2 cup oatmeal
1/3 cup sliced almonds
1/2 cup shredded sweetened coconut
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup honey
1/4 cup apple juice

Recipe Directions for Granola

  1. Preheat oven 350 degrees F

  2. Combine oats, almonds, coconut, cinnamon and salt in a large bowl. Whisk together honey and juice. Pour over oat mixture and stir to coat completely.

  3. Spread mixture in an even layer on a large cookie sheet. Bake 25 -30 minutes until golden brown. Stir twice during baking time. Let cool. Add 1/2 cup raisins and 1/2 cup dried cranberries if desired.
