Crunchy, slightly sweet, and great for breakfast.

Recipe Ingredients for granola

5 cups rolled oats
1 cups raw almonds
1 cup pumpkin seeds
3/4 cup flax seeds
3/4 cup light brown sugar
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. salt
3/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce
1/3 cup brown rice syrup
1/4 cup honey

Recipe Directions for granola

  1. Combine, oats and almonds/pumpkin seeds. In a separate bowl, combine all remaining ingredients; stir well.

  2. Pour over oats mixture, stir to combine. Spread mixture evenly over two cookie sheets.

  3. Bake at 300* until brown. Let cool; granola should crisp as it cools.
