Makes 32 servings



Wholesome homemade granola using natural sweeteners. May use any nut or dried fruit in place of the 1 cup of raisins. Sometimes I use 1/2 cup of nuts and 1/2 cup of fruit.

Recipe Ingredients for Granola

8 cups rolled oats
1 cup raw wheat germ
1/2 cup ground flax seed
1 cup raisins
2 T. cinnamon
1/2 cup raw honey
1/2 cup Maple Syrup
1/2 cup water

Recipe Directions for Granola

  1. Mix all dry ingredients together well.

  2. Heat honey, water, and maple syrup on the stove until just melted, stir, and then pour over dry mixed ingredients. Mix until liquid is distributed evenly. Bake at 250 degrees stirring well halfway through baking time of 45 minutes. Keeps in pantry up to 2 weeks and in the fridge up to 6 weeks.
