A mixture of nuts and grains that will supply a good source of protein, and taste good, too.

Recipe Ingredients for Granola

6 cups oats, rolled
1 cup walnuts, chopped
1 cup pecans, chopped
1 cup quinoa, rinsed
1 cup wheat germ, natural toasted
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup molasses, unsulphured
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg, freshly ground

Recipe Directions for Granola

In a large bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together well. Add the oil, honey and molasses. Stir until well mixed. Spread out on cookie sheets, and bake at 300 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes, until lightly toasted.
