basic granola recipe- easy to experiment with

Recipe Ingredients for Granola

2 cup oats
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
3 1/3 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup pecans

Recipe Directions for Granola

  1. preheat oven to 325 F

  2. toss oats, cinnamon and salt

  3. stir together oil, honey and brown sugar and vanilla

  4. pour honey mix over oats

  5. bake 10 min and stir

  6. bake 5 min and flip (add nuts if desired)

  7. bake 10 minutes and let cool (add dried fruit if desired)
