a recipe from the interwebs... a few tweaks with what was available.

Recipe Ingredients for Granola

2 c old fashioned oats
1/2 c almonds, chopped
1/2 c walnuts, chopped
1/8 c milled flaxseed
1/2 c Sunflower Seeds
1/4 c vegetable oil
1/2 c honey
1/2 c raisins
1/2 c craisins

Recipe Directions for Granola

  1. In Large bowl, mix oats, nuts & seeds.

  2. stir in vegetable oil (make sure to swirl oil around measuring cup before pouring to help get the honey out in the next step)

  3. stir in honey. Mix well.

  4. transfer to baking dish. bake 300*F about 30 mins (mixing every 10 mins or so to make sure cooks evenly to a golden brown)

  5. return to large bowl. mix in dried fruits.
