a sweet and crunchy granola thats perfect for topping oatmeal or yogurt!

Recipe Ingredients for granola

2 cups old fashioned oats
2 tbls margarine
1 tbls honey
2 tbls brown sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup almonds

Recipe Directions for granola

  1. spread oats and almonds on a baking sheet and toast under broil for a couple of minutes, watching carefully that they dont burn

  2. in medium skillet, melt butter add rest of ingredients. Cook over low heat for 2 minutes.

  3. stir in oats, spread back onto cookie sheet and turn the oven off. leave granola in hot oven for 15 minutes, stirring every few minutes to dry

  4. store in airtight container
