Low fat, reduced sugar, no nuts or dried fruit granola

Recipe Ingredients for Granola

2 cups quick oats
1 cup Cheerios
2 tbl maple syrup
2 tbl coconut oil, melted
1 tbl brown sugar
1 pinch salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Granola

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

  2. Line sheet pan with parchment paper.

  3. Toss oats, Cheerios, salt and cinnamon in a large bowl.

  4. Mix maple syrup,coconut oil,brown sugar and vanilla and stir into dry ingredients to coat.

  5. Spread out on parchment and bake 15 minutes.

  6. Stir then bake checking at 5 minute intervals until golden brown and crisp.
