Same as granola with half pecans recipe, but I got tired of trying to add 1/2 or 3/4 of a serving.

Recipe Ingredients for Granola with half pecans: 1/4 cup serving

8 cups rolled oats
1 cup chopped pecans
1 1/4 cups brown sugar
1/2 cups water
4 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon salt

Recipe Directions for Granola with half pecans: 1/4 cup serving

  1. Mix oats and pecans.

  2. Mix sugar, water, and vanilla.

  3. Microwave the sugar mixture for 5 minutes until all of the sugar is dissolved.

  4. Add 1 tsp. salt to sugar mixture.

  5. Drizzle sugar syrup over the oat mixture and stir to combine.

  6. Put on 2 cookie sheets (line with parchment for easy cleanup) and bake at 275 for 45 - 60 minutes.
