Recipe Ingredients for Granola with flax(and peanuts and cranberries)

3 cups rolled oats
2 cups steel cut oats
1/3 cup honey
2 tbsp milled flax seed
6 oz water
1/2 cup peanuts
1/2 cup dried cranberries(or other dried fruit)

Recipe Directions for Granola with flax(and peanuts and cranberries)

Combine hot water with flax seeds and set aside for 5 minutes. Combine oats in a mixing bowl and add flax seed mixture and honey. Stir ingredients until oats are wet and forming clumps. Spread onto sheet pan(s) and bake in a preheated oven at 275 Degrees F for 45-60 minutes or until dried and starting to brown; stirring it up every 15 minutes. Allow to cool and add peanuts and dried fruit.
